Not sure about bags but I am getting a C&C seat for my Iron this week. I haven't read anything negative about them at all. Hope this helps you. Don't pay attention to the wise cracks from people trying to jack up their post counts The ignore feature works great for that.

Which seat are you looking at getting? I'm in the market, but don't want to get a seat that ruins the Irons lines!
The Fastback and it should be here by Friday. I was torn between a Corbin Gunfighter and the C&C Fastback but last week I saw an Iron with the C&C and in my opinion it looked great. I have a badlander right now but it is a painful seat.....great looking but after 100 miles it really hurts. I had a Corbin on my Fatboy and loved it so I hope that the C&C is the right fit. If for some reason the C&C isn't great then I will send it back and get the Gunfighter. I also had a Mustang but it didn't work out looks wise for me. It just looked too chunky and raised me too much but that was on my Fatboy.

Let me know how the seat turns out! I'm the same way, I don't want to have a seat that out profiles the bike itself.
