Hi To Everyone
Nice bike.. love the color..
I dunno,,
REMEMBER THIS,,
Pay very close attention In class on how to hold the throttle,,,
Level or lower wrist,,
You get on the Sportster and by mistake are holding HI on the throttle,,
and Roll out,,,well...
I've actually seen bikes run UP a tree with the rider on it,,
the Bike accelerates very fast,,you get G-Forced back,,,
Your wrist straightens out,,and Your at
What we call "WOT"
Thats Wide Open Throttle,,,
After the course,,,
First time you take the bike outta the garage spend some time playin with things.
Then go Spend a Few HOURS In a parking lot.
If you get to ride a few times a week start every ride with Braking drills,,,
Learn how that back brake works when the weight transfer begins..
I'm a weekend rider,,only a year with this Harley.
22 years ago I gave it up,,had lots of road time back then..
I still start every ride with a few good practice stops,,,
Not just normal stops,,,
I warm up the tires,,getter speed up and make the front tire howl
like I'm beatin a dog.
During these practice emergency stops I'm workin the rear brake near lockup.
The weight shifts forward as I squeez the front binders in and I have to ease up on the rear
as the weight comes off It,,,Follow me ?
Your gonna really like the course XD
congrats on your bike may you have many pleasurable hours ridin the **** outa it
