In the class you have to look out for a dozen or more other riders, plus keep your eyes on the instructors. There have been several posts/comments on the forum from experienced riders who prefer not to ride with a group.
The bike or the wife? I can't see whether I posted the right pics or not. Somehow, I can't view the attachments. Not sure why. Anyone know?

Not sure.. but they are right about the course.. do it and pay attention and have fun.. I had a blast at it.. I've been riding about 2 years now.. and Ive put more miles on my sportster then my car the first year.. second year I sold my car.. drive my wife's when it rains to hard.. the course has saved me more then once.. but i haven't dropped it yet.. "knock on wood.."

Nice bike.. love the color..

I dunno,,

REMEMBER THIS,,
Pay very close attention In class on how to hold the throttle,,,
Level or lower wrist,,
You get on the Sportster and by mistake are holding HI on the throttle,,
and Roll out,,,well...
I've actually seen bikes run UP a tree with the rider on it,,
the Bike accelerates very fast,,you get G-Forced back,,,
Your wrist straightens out,,and Your at
What we call "WOT"
Thats Wide Open Throttle,,,

After the course,,,
First time you take the bike outta the garage spend some time playin with things.
Then go Spend a Few HOURS In a parking lot.

If you get to ride a few times a week start every ride with Braking drills,,,
Learn how that back brake works when the weight transfer begins..

I'm a weekend rider,,only a year with this Harley.
22 years ago I gave it up,,had lots of road time back then..

I still start every ride with a few good practice stops,,,
Not just normal stops,,,
I warm up the tires,,getter speed up and make the front tire howl
like I'm beatin a dog.
During these practice emergency stops I'm workin the rear brake near lockup.
The weight shifts forward as I squeez the front binders in and I have to ease up on the rear
as the weight comes off It,,,Follow me ?
Your gonna really like the course XD
Thats sum really good advice for any new rider...

congrats on your bike may you have many pleasurable hours ridin the **** outa it
welcome to the forums

I would be late to work everyday if I did this...You actually go through this routine every time you hop on your bike?

If so I'd sure like to be his supplier of brake pads and tires, what a load of crap.
