does anybody know if the brake pedal for my mid controls will fit my forward controls? somebody was messing with my bike in the parking lot and dropped it. id rather not have to buy a whole new set.
It should, and the right side clevis/peg mount on the mids should be the same as both sides on the forwards. I know I just put on my forwards and the left side clevis was mis-drilled so I use the right side clevis from my mids. Can't really tell from the pics, but the clevis from the mids is brushed metal, and the ones that came with the forwards are chrome.

They should fit, if not, give E-Bay a try.
I hope you found the scuzzball that was messing with your bike. Make them buy a whole new set.
I don't think it'll work man. If it mounts up the lever will be horizontal...and you need it to be at something like a 45 degree angle...that may put the clevis in an area where the rod won't connect. If that makes sense...
I'm not gonna say it positivly won't work, but it's probably not a direct bolt-on affair. There may be some large washers involved and/or a twisted rod. Let us know what you find out.
The mid brake pivot point for the brake rod connection is towards the bottom of the brake pedal assembly and at about 45 degress to the brake pedal arm. The forward lever has the pivot on the side, parrallel to the brake pedal arm. The shorter mid brake rod has pivot joints that are nearly perpendicular - the forward's rod ends are parrallel (still, there may be enough flexibility in the heim joints to let it function). The pin for the break lever (top of photo) is longer on the forwards set. You might be able to use the pin from mids to eliminate using large washers. I kinda doubt it'll work.
