Since certain styles and brands of pipes fit with forward controls and others fit with mid controls I'm wondering if I can accomplish a certain setup on my soon to be here (late) street bob. LEFT SIDE (transmission)-- leave the shifter controls where they are and mount up a highway peg on the left for stretching out. RIGHT SIDE (brake)-- move brake to forward position and have one straight peg, if possible, in the mid location just to have a footrest to match where my shifter is on left side. That way my left foot stays in the mid position to shift and can stretch out for comfort. My right foot is forward to brake and can come back and rest at mid position to maintain sport riding position. Yes I would have to buy full set of forward controls, but with just the one peg mounted on right side I might could fit the exhausts that require forward controls. Since I don't have my bike here to look at someone tell me if there is even a location to somehow mount a peg on the right side after the brake controls have been moved.

 

The brake assembly and the right side peg mount from the same location,, Chances are if your pipes requie you to move the brake assembly you'll have to move the peg as well.. heres a shot of mine
