Default Rush comes through again...

A month a so ago Dim100 posted about his Rush Black slipons discoloring and if you all read the post, Rush really came through and offered replacements. Well I had the same issue with mine, so I let them know about it and the response was not only immediate, but again, they offered to replace them for me. Katfish and Adam are both awesome! I am also now in the replacement process as well, having purchased them through American Classic Motors I have to go through them. Krissy has been great from there as well. Just thought you all needed to hear that good is out there and as much as I was disappointed with the discoloring, I was going to purchase a new pair this spring because there is no other pipe I would ever put on my bike. The look and sound (2.25 baffles) are awesome and there is no other option for me.
Thanks Dim for the thread and many thanks to Rush!

Nice to hear it works well for some people. My baffles broke, and the dealer couldn't get them out completely, so Rush agreed to replace the mufflers. A month later, still no mufflers...

Just out of curiosity, are they (Rush) considering that to be a defect? Is the discoloring due to heat from the engine near the heads?

For me they were considering this a defect due to oil residue left on before coating.

See this thread for the pics of my pipes -

I would say by those pics that it appears to be a prep problem (or lack thereof) That's awesome that they are replacing them. Good customer service is a rare thing these days. Now, if his name was Peggy, I would be worried.

Better than any advertisement they could make, it pays to look after people. I just bought a Harley Iron and it was the worst experience of my life very poor customer service and I will never go back to them.
