Default Sliding forks up an inch in the Triple Trees

I have heard of some that have done this to lower the front end without (they say) any driveability or handling problems. Is this an acceptable, inexpensive method to lower it?

Yes it can be done, and you can lower the rear, with 1" shorter shocks. You may have to modify the kick stand though, to keep it from falling over easy.

I put the Customs rear shocks on my Roadster and thought about lowering the front but I kind of like it the way it is so I'll just leave it for now unless there becomes an issue.

One thing about the lower rear end you have to raise the rear end about an inch during oil changes to get all the oil out or I just have a crooked garage.
