I think I am going to do the fix. At least I will know that a good gasket set was use and can check the surfaces for flatness.

Sorry to hear about the problems. Hope the parts arrive someday soon.

That might have been me, however, my issue was with my dealer getting it repainted via a local shop. Though I had to wait over a month to get the bike back, the paint job came back perfect!

If it wasn't me you were thinking of, oops.

Yeah that sucks man-I had the same issue when I order the Stag I AC for the XL50 then went down there and all along they had a Stag I for my bike, but with a differant part # WTF? Well hang in there- it is winter time.
