Last October 26 I ordered painted battery and oil tank covers from MOCO through Chicago HD. Both the parts catalog and P/O stated an average of four to six week wait before delivery. Both also stated a possible wait time of twelve weeks. Yesterday, I decided to call Chicago HD and requested an update on my order. The internet sales guy could not find my order, even with the CHD order number, left me on hold for five minutes and came back with the lame excuse that before the end of the year, some orders got lost. Funny thing, their original email in October stated parts were ordered through MOCO on the 27th and I was hit for the cash from debit card the same day. He apologized for the "error" and informed me that I should get my covers at the end of February or the beginning of March.
I should have asked for my money back so I can fix my forward rocker box cover gasket (rear went in June). Rant over.
