I found this site and read up on quite a bit. It is amazing that you can go to a site like this and learn so much from people who speak from actual experience.
This is my first Harley, a 2005 Sportster 1200c. I looked at new ones then ran across this used one and decided it was a better bet as far as trying one out when I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted.
I have ridden on and off road since I was a kid.
In all that time I had never ridden a Harley before. Well you can tell what I thought since I went and bought one.
I am going to have a few questions I am sure.
I noticed a couple of things reading on the site that I would like to get for it already. I am sure after I get those I won't need anything else for it, right?

Welcome.....
"Won't need anything else for it"????
Having owned nothing but Big Twins for over 30 years, I decided to add a 2005 1200C to the 'stable' a few months ago...
The Sportsters are great platforms for adding your own preferences and custom touches. You can keep them stock, or go as wild as you want...
Many times I've told myself that there isn't anything else I need for a bike, only to find something later that I absolutely have to add. LoL...

Welcome aboard!! Now lets get some pix of that baby up here!!
Welcome aboard and ride safe. My advice about adding things is this. NEVER go to a Harley dealer in a cage. If you're on your bike, there is only so much you can buy. If you're in a cage, you might end up selling the house to buy all the stuff at the dealer.
