The Wiley X glasses are great. I rode with them for a couple of years. But, I got tired of changing lenses, or taking 2 pair (one for day, one for night). I now ride with HD transition glasses. Not cheap. I think there were around $150, but I like them.
I need to wear glasses to see where I am going (getting old sux) so I went and got a pair that fits tight around the nose and eyes.
Sort of geeky looking, but they work great, auto tint, anti glare.
My eyes don't water unless its really cold out, cold enough to need the full coverage helmet or risk frost bite.
Prescription or non prescription? There is a big difference in that with prescription glasses, especially with a large frame & lenses to protect the eye area. If there is substantial curvature of the lens, images will distort with prescription glasses. I have a pair of Harley-Davidson prescription glasses that are Transition (light sensitive color changing) and are terrific.
Saw your post about glasses. Did you get your HD glasses at a dealer and have lenses put in them or at an optical place? I'm looking for a good pair of prescription glasses with transition lens. Not sure if I order a pair online if I can have lens put int hem. Thanks.
i got a pair from hd, took those to the optician and had them make me prescription transition glasses. The one from hd have a removable foam liner for wind and dust protection...good stuff...
but I'm really diggin those 7eye...wish i could try some on.
I wear Anarchy brand sunglasses....I think they are called Transfer. Wear them on or off the bike...cost $42.
Yes I had those too and liked them a lot. Same technology as the HD ones except stamping HD on a product adds big bucks to it....NEVER buy anything that you wear from HD until you compare first)))
incase you're also interested in goggles hd has a pair of 16.95 goggles, they have an old school look and for highway riding i will never go back to regular glasses, they have all shades, and very slight air vents and as ride 50+ miles each way on the highways and at 110 feels like your sitting on your couch.
