incase you're also interested in goggles hd has a pair of 16.95 goggles, they have an old school look and for highway riding i will never go back to regular glasses, they have all shades, and very slight air vents and as ride 50+ miles each way on the highways and at 110 feels like your sitting on your couch.
Gotta get me one o those 110mph couches.
I have contacts.
I wear Veratti 1000 glasses. For me they keep out more wind than any of the other dozen or so brands i have tried. Come in different shades. I have Lt Silver, Clear and Dark Silver. http://www.coleparmer.com/1/1/12361-...-mirror-l.html
I got a pair from HD that were about $60. The tint darkness changes depending on sunlight so you can wear them both at night and during the day...pretty cool to only have to wear one pair. I used to carry two pair and sometimes have to stop to swap them out.
I got a pair of "Curv-Z" from ebay for $20, the best ive ever had. they are polarized & had no foam but the frame was shaped in a way to keep the wind out of your eyes. awesome glasses
I use bobster foamerz II and like them, the foam liner keeps the wind from watering my eyes.
before that i had a pair of plain wrap around sunglasses but the wind still bothered my eyes.
Wiley X's that wrap around the head, can't speak much for riding at 60mph (only been up to 55 lmao) but I used to wear them when I in the 82nd Airborne Division and jumping out of planes, they do a great job of keeping wind out of the eyes.
From what I was told by an opthamologist the main difference between cheap and expensive sunglasses is the curvature of the lens and the optical compensation. When you buy cheap sunglasses you do not get any compensation for the lens curvature, thus distorting your vision, even damaging your eyes over time. Expensive lens are expensive because they've been corrected for the distortion of the curve in the lens. There are other contributing factors, such as polorization, but that's basically it.
