Thinking about spring, and new bikes, my 2009 1200 is not very comfortable for me, mostly because the mid pegs are too far forward.
I have handlebars I like, I like the bike otherwise (except its a bit overweight) so I wonder if there is any non drastic way to move the pegs shifter and brake back about 2 or 3 inches???
When running on the hiway at 75 mph, I often use the passenger pegs, but that is a bit unsafe and not ideal.
Some cut and welding of the peg mounts might work, but what about the other stuff?
Modding a set is an option - although probably more trouble than it's worth. Go on the STORZ website and look at rear sets. But get ready to pay big $$$.
