Default Not cheap

Saving money is not the reason to consider a reusable filter, at least the ones I have seen. They are supposed to clean as good or better ( magnets, dream catchers and bells) than stock but the main point is they are said to cool the oil a bit.
I considered one but I am running plain jane WIX filters till someone can convince me otherwise.

Lets see,,,,
I drain my oil,,,
Unscrew my filter,,,
Put some oil In My 7 dollar filter,,
screw It back on,,
add oil,,,,
Go for a ride,,,,

Hmmmmm
Reuseable,,,
I drain my oil,,
Unscrew my filter,,
drain It,,
dissasemble it,,
Put on rubber gloves,,because If you get Oil or cleaners on your hands
your Liver eats it...can you say Increased chance for Liver cancer??
Get out cleaning solution,,
start cleaning the filter media,,
maybe a second time,,,
clean up the mess,,
the cleaning container,,
the gloves are throw away surgical types,,,
Put the thing back together,,simple I'm shure,,
Oil It,,
screw It In,,,
add Oil,,,,
Dammit man,,,
too late for a ride,,,,

Six months later,,,
I messed up and contaminated the clean side of the Filter media
with a tiny almost Invisible metal shaving,,
It went thru a bearing,,,
shredded it,,,
Motor rebuild,,,
$3,000,,,

Yeah reuseable,,,good deal XD

Just get a regular one from the dealer, of all the things HD sells it's one of the cheapest. $5 and your out the door with a filter designed and tested for your bike.
