Help! Need a bad fuel injection assembly from a Sportster
Hey, I have a chopper that is based on a sportster and the fuel tank was not coated very well and has begun to rust. Before it gets to bad I am going to do the POR15 process on it, but since it was built in 2009 the tank has the sportster fuel pump assembly on the left hand side (fuel injected).
What I would like to do is take a failed assembly and install it into the tank for the coating process and then put my original assembly back in it for putting the bike back together.
If anyone has one as a takeoff from replacement please let me know if I can buy it. Thanks for the help.
