I work for a Harley Davidson dealership and I'm strongly considering buying a very awesome 2002 XL883R. However, I am I rather tall individual and desire forward controls for the bike, and I can't seem to find anything on forward controls for an '02 883R
The parts depo guys said they might have an option, but it would cost a ridiculous amount of money.
Basically not having forward controls for the bike is a deal breaker, so any and all help is very much appreciated.
How can I get ahold of one of these sets? I can't seem to find them online.
Hasgoth, Go to this site and click on "pick a catalog" scroll to (11' Bikers Choice). Type in page number(348) to the right of the(pick a section). Look for part number 48-9840. Your local after market shop should be a dealer. http://www.powersportrider.com/CGI-B...catpub=BC0110C
Go to E-bay, and while you're there, look for exhausts too. You will need to change it to get any decent foot controls. I do know that the HD highway pegs for that year Sportster does fit. You should be able to get a set of forwards for that scooter for $200. and that's chrome. The same as the ones that come on the custom Sportster, If you change the exhaust.
