hello there , well its time , i have 17,000+ miles on my tires , i think i need to replace them before the next inspection. I think ill go with the same stock dunlops that are on it now , since these did so well . id like the bearings checked and repacked since the wheels will be off and get the rear wheel checked since so many spokes were loose. Is there anything else i need done for wheel maintenance ? and how much will i be looking at $dollar wise for this kind of work ?? at the local HD dealer.
That's how far exactly I went with my stock Dunlops. The dealer was amazed. They said usual lifespan is 8K-12K.
All dealers are different. Mine charged $75 hr. The guy at the counter liked me, and charged me $105 to install, mount/balance. I bought Pirelli's off motorcyclesuperstore.com super cheap . This also included a new front tube and stems.
im abit confused on tube and rim tape sizes ? my tires read 100/90-19 mc 57H for front , 150/80b16 mc 71h rear.....
so i have a 19 inch front wheel and needa19in, tube , 16inch rear wheel ?????? seems kinda small is that the right size ???
