I'd have done the same. I just love the bike being covered, and nothing on the carpet

My vote goes to West Eagle, but I am liking Rich Phillips a lot... West eagle is going to be uncomfortable in the beginning ..

Spring seat?.. rock on bro!!

Yeah, but you get adjusted to it after about the third or fourth ride and it's fine. Even the first ride after storing the bike for the winter. My first long ride this season was only 65 miles and after I got off, I couldn't feel my junk for almost 10 minutes.

Lick's uses the West Eagle seat for their kit. I bought a WE off of Ebay for about $100 and just bought a mount from Drag...

yeah i don't even know how lick's can sell it for that price when you can get the seat for a 100$ and seat h/w for 50-60$? i don't get it.

i noticed that....you mentioned in a thread a while back you needed a break from the struts. i kinda decided to leave the rigid for a real rigid should i own one some day, some day! i like the brat style look man, slammed fender w/ the shox. those dudes in japan know how to rock a harley, they have an awesome scene over there. totally into that style right now. in time i think i'm gonna chop the struts back as far as you did and swingarm mount the fender with some round bar fender struts. maybe next winter. damn i'm trying not to drink during the week and you really made me want one...ok sierra anniversary for me!

I had taken the original cover off of my West Eagle seat, I bought it used and it was a red metal flake. I did add a real thin extra layer of carpet padding for a little more cushion, but not much, and then I wrapped it in leather from the back of an old jacket and hard mounted it with no springs. Most people give me the hairy eyeball after they sit on my bike and say "I dunno how you ride that thing". Eh, to me, it's all I know. And now that I put 12" Street Glide shocks on, it's not even an issue.
