Good sh*t bro. Long overdue. From the seats you listed I'd go with the west eagle, but I'm a bit bias so let me throw in a redtail leather seat into the mix. Add rubber stops and a seat hinge courtesy of Mike Reed and you got yourself a nice setup.

yeah too long overdue tike! i like the redtail as well but a little out of my price range. i gotta keep the budget low on this as all my money this summer is going into track riding, tires aint cheap. that's exactly how i want to do it though, some rubber stops and a seat hinge and call it a day. didn't know mreed was selling those?
Nice work. What part of philapa you from? I would like To see the work sometime. I am just south of the phila airport. Looking to chop an 08 rear fender soon.
Looks good man. Last winter I installed my pipes and did a few other mods to my XL50 in the living room since the garage is not heated and I wanted it all done for spring. I have painted in the house before, but never again.

thanks dude, means a lot. as soon as my buddy can button up the batt. box he's extendeding out about an inch or so i can wrap this up. mounting the lights and fender back up though tonight and should have a pic of that after i'm done. really pleased how well it came out. to be honest, wayyyyy easier than i thought!
So if I am not mistaken you chopped from the ECU line and brought the fender forward?
P.S. I am actually taking off Keystones to go with apes. Great looking bars and very well made! Gives the bike a really nice old school look.
