Hey guys I am new to this forum. When I purchased the 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 it already had the Burly Slammer shocks and the Burly Mini Ape hangers. It also had the Screamin' Eagle II's as well and the braided lines. The list of modifications are as followed. I purchased a new 2" Bikers Choice stretch tank and had all of my tins custom painted with a 2-tone scheme using Lamborghini Orange and Lincolns Tuxedo Black Metallic. The emblems on the tank are the Willie G emblems with the holographic skulls in them. I also picked up a Harley Davidson emblem to cover the license plate bracket holes in the rear fender. I made a custom headlight bracket out of some polished aluminum I had laying around and I also lowered the speedometer below the top part of the triple tree. I could not stand the way the clam shell looked over the headlight. Along with the cosmetics I added a 21" spoked front wheel and a Lepera Bare Bones seat. The bike is extremely comfortable to ride now. Now for the engine modifications. I had a local shop do all the work (K&J Cyce Machine in Chewton, Pa). It is now a 1212cc instead of an 883cc. The shop also installed Andrews N3 cams, Crane ignition, and ported and polished the heads. I made some modifications to my Screamin' Eagle II's as well. I welded the bungs shut where the crossover tubes go into the slip on's and made some modifications to the internals. I had to have the drag pipe sound and they sound AMAZING now. The performance is also amazing as well. Thanks for looking and any comments will be greatly appreciated.
WOW! the bike looks amazing. I think some powder coating wouldnt look bad on those wheels, like a gloss black.
Where did u get that gas tank from? Also, I would like to see the speedo relocated to the side, I think it would clean it up really well. I definitely like the color scheme.
