Ordered a vivid black chopped rear fender for my 09 Custom from the dealer 4 weeks ago. Why does it take so long for "painted parts" to come in from Harley? I can understand custom paint jobs or getting your tank, front and rear fenders done but you would think they would have some "vivid black" chopped fenders in stock since the only other color they offer is vivid black or primed. I'm an impatient person (problem I have) but would have thought this would be in by now! The weather where I live is just now starting to get nice so I wanna get that fender on my bike ASAP.
The guys a the counter are too busy selling overpriced chrome Harley goodies to go in the back to get it.
Ha...yep. It just makes no sense to me that the only color you can order it in is black so why couldn't it ship the week I bought it. It is as if they only stock ones primed and then paint them for each individual order. So confusing...

Thats the reason right there,,,,
Took four or five weeks for my Quarter Fairing,,,I had to match the bike,
Vivid Black.
Patience Is a Virtue,,
The "I gotta have It NOW" state of mind Is whats wrong with
this countries economy,,
resulting In massive credit debt.

Cool...good to know. I always feel as if my dealer does not have my best interest in mind. I feel you on the economy statement too but I paid cash so that is why my mind frame is what it is about this part.
