Default Road 6 Customs

Thinking about getting the 16" Apes from Road 6 Customs, anyone have any experience with these bars? Or with the company in general?

No experience with the bars, but I live fairly close to their shop and stopped in there a while back. Good, stand up folks, very talented welder/fabricator. They didn't know me from Adam, but went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, ended up getting a screaming deal on my Burly shocks from them. I'll definitely being doing business with them again.

I just ordered ''14 bars last week. I researched before ordering and anybody who has these bars are very happy with the product and company. I can't wait to install them!

I'm 6'1 Brett, from what I've seen on the forums here and been told these should be good for me, for you I'd probably go with the 14's. What I did is took some cardboard and cut ou different sized apes, kinda did a mock up on the bike to see what felt the best ( you can thank our fellow members for that idea).

If you want a better feel for them, buy some 1/2" PVC pipe and some fittings and mock them up, that way you can get cable lengths and see how comfy they are. Just press fit the fittings, then you can adjust them to your liking and find a set of bars close to your mock-up. (Just don't ride the bike with the PVC bars)

You can even heat the PVC pipe with a propane torch and bend it.
