Ironically, I ordered the same bars, grips, pegs, etc... for my vivid black 48. However, after talking with my Harley master tech friends and parts guys, it looks like the diamond black cables are a SUGGESTION. The length on the stock cables and the diamond blacks are exactly the same. In the 2011/2012 parts catalog below the drag bar part number it shows the cable numbers but does not say "required".
That being saidMparrish2010, as far as the turn signal relocation goes, did you have to buy a kit for that? As far as I can tell, and after talking to my tech and parts guys, all you have to do is grind down the "centering lug" in order to move them tot he lower triple tree. Is this what they charged you for, or is there a part number for a relocation kit that my guys can't find?
yep unbolt it from the top clamp, grind the little mount tab off the back of the blinker mount, rebolt to the bottom clamp. nothing to it! No wiring kit or anything needed. 10 minute job if you can get them bolts loose!
