Smokeygold, what number and color is your XL-50? I can tell by previous posts that you like your SE mufflers. Please post a picture when you have time, expecially of the grips.
Believe it or not I didn't take notice of the number ( I pick up tommorrow). However, it is black. I think I read before that black is the fastest color on a motorcycle!!!
Since mine is black, I'll have to agree with you. I know this is "nit-picking" but I through that the orange 50th anniversary bikes would have looked better with matching battery and oil covers. When you take delivery, please post your number on the XL-50 "registery" post on this forum.
By the way, the black covers with the silkscreen H are very similar to the early edition sporties from the late 50's.
Orange colours would not look nice.
