Unfortunately, to do it right you will need to siolate the rust (sand off the coating around the area until the rust is gone, and sand down to the bare metal about an inch or two past the rust), seal the bare metal with DTM primer (Direct To Metal), block sand and feather edge it, then repaint and clearcoat. Do not try to blend the clear, otherwise you will have the clear peel a year or so down the line. I assume the rust is on the frame?

I have come to consider rust on my N a free accessory. XXXX steel wool (or is it 0000?), maybe a little wd40 is all I do, but it's a losing battle.
