Well to be honest I wanted to do a spring seat but I can't locate a kit for my year model. But even if the one it's on there don't look great it is comfortable on long rides.
Well went back with the stock seat....does anybody happen to know what the rise on stock Nightster bars is? I'm wanting to go with some road 6 z's and I'm trying to get some ideas..
I'd call it a bobber. The Nightster starts as a factory bobber, compare it to a 2008 Xl1200C and you'll see that. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules of what is required (hardtail, spring seat, homemade exhaust, exhaust wrap, etc) for a bike to be considered a bobber. If you consider EVERY element that could be applied to a bobber, then say a "bobber" needs every one of them, it would be very rare to see a real bobber.
