Speedo question

Ok just a quick question. I have been running no front sigs for awhile and haven't been hassled yet when I get stopped. So next I want to get ride of my speedo I haven't used it in forever beside a place to hook my hat to. Is just a plug and will it affect anything else? Reason I sakis because my cbr no speedo no starting the bike.

Just remember that you are required to have an accurate odometer. You haven't been hassled about the front signals because turn signals are not required on a motorcycle. You won't be hassled about the speedometer because they aren't required on any vehicle. You are required to control your speed, but nobody cares how you go about doing it.

just remove everything and extend the wiring, tuck it in a fork or frame bag, and forget about it. does no permanent damage and you keep your Odo in case you wanna sell it.
