Thanks guys! I guess I'll just suck it up and try to get the bolts out. Btw, Duffy, the bolts that I stripped are the muffler bolts not the linkage ones! I was stupid (and I say that as I blush) and used a regular wrench instead of a socket with a ratchet. I didn't think it was gonna be that easy to strip those bolt heads but hey.... I guess you only learn that way.
I'll keep all advice in mind. Thanks again. I bought a new set of torx L wrenches so I'll give reaching the linkage bolts without removing the muffler one more shot.
Now on a second note, if the muffler bolts are completely stripped (that is, the hex heads have become shiny circles instead), you reckon I can get someone to weld a piece of steel to those heads and wrench them out without damaging the mufflers? I have the SE street performacnce slash cut slip ons. There should be sufficient space between the muffler and the bolt yeah?
