Default Question about changing bars

I have done a bar change before but not internal wiring. I have mini HD apes on my nightster now and i am going to apes that i will not have to change out any cables or get longer wires. What exactly do i do when taking the bars off as far as the internal wiring? How hard is it? I am pretty good at mechanical stuff just never done this before. Can i get some help

Before you remove the bars, you're going to have to detatch the H-bar wires from the harness or clip them. Then remove the H-bars. If you plan on reusing the same wires,be careful when pulling them out from the top of the H-bars as there may be burrs on the lip of the holes from drilling them out and can snag on the wire coating. If you want, you can spray a little WD40 in the top and let it run down so it can be easier to slide out. When installing the wires in the new bars, take a long ribbon and an air gun and blow that ribbon from the top hole and ut'll come out the bottom. Tie the top end of the ribbon to the wire's end and tape it with a little electrical tape and slowly pull the ribbon through the bottom being careful of any burrs you may have missed when you cleaned up the openings of your new H-bars. I think you get the gist of what's going on...

Well, the wires plug/connect to your wiring harness. You can always carefully snip them and butt end connect them when you are done putting them through your bars..
