I really like the looks of those. Do you plan on carrying that "style/theme" of the black/brass with holes throughout more pieces?
I made other brass stuff for the bike, Covers for the highway pegs, made brass pegs, brass shift **** on the jockey shifter, brass screen in the air cleaner, points cover, pulley cover, made brass struts, few other odds and ends. Have some other ideas just dont want to over do it.
I thought about that. Frankly I didnt know what to do,so I coated them. Should I sand it off?
It depends on how thick the coating is. If it's not too thick it should be ok. But since you already have been wondering about it I'm sure you'll notice the fitment while reinstalling them. Just put them back together knowing that you may need to pull them out & take some material off if it feels too snug.

First time powdercoating pushrod tubes. Didnt know if oil could work its way out around the seals or o-rings because of the powder lifting or something like that. Hate oil leaks! Guess I'll see how it goes when I put it back together.
