The first exhaust change I made to my '05 Roadster was to get a set of Cycle Shack slip-ons. They were definitely a big improvement over stock, but at 50-70 mph they put out a harmonic that really annoyed my ears. I then went to SE II's and added BTC baffles. For me, this combination puts out a deeper sound at all RPM levels and gears without the annoying harmonics I got from the Cycle Shacks - and I love 'em. Unless you're looking for the raspy drag-pipe sound, I think most would be very pleased with the SE II/BCT baffle combination - they just speak "Milwaukee Twin"!
Thanks for your confirmation, I think I'm on the right way. But looking on the BCT Website makes me sure, buying there will be not a cheap pleasure ....
Are there some dealers who offers better prices???

I have never seen them for sale anywhere except on their website, which is where I got them.
Whats the difference between Screamin Eagle slip ons and Screamin Eagle II slip on's? I have the older screamin eagle slip ons, and I am considering getting rid of them for a new exhause (bike is a 03 XL1200S).

I guess i lucked out finding excellent used SC II's for my 06 1200. Very easy install and cost 70 bucks. Included entire exhaust system too, with heat shields.
Thanks for the information. I just looked and saw I had SE II's, not Screamin Eagles as I originally thought. Either way I am probably going to replace them in favor of a 2in1 system.
@Thumper 26, the SE SPs have baffles you can't remove, that's the info, I got form a German Sporty rider who have the SE SP slip ons on his 883 iron. Maybe he is wrong, but I don't think so.
