Kinda looks like a riot control sheild that the police use. Guess you'll be ready for anything that's thrown your way.....
That's what I was thinking.
I have to be honest I don't like it but I'm not riding it either so if you can stand it for the winter then go right ahead.
One of my close friends just told me yesterday that she thought it looked like a riot shield... I think I might start calling it the riot shield rather than the big ugly...
I think I may repaint it red to match... Perhaps if we have a rainy or snowy spell and it will be a few days before I can ride again, I'll take take it off and paint it up red and black to match the bike.
It dosen't look nearly as huge and over whelming when someone is sitting on the bike, so I don't worry about what it looks like when I'm riding... plus there is the fact that it works so amazingly...
When it is warm again... it is coming right off though.
It's big, it's ugly, nice work.Oh, that's not what you were going for? In that case I don't think windshields belong on sportsters at all but that doesn't look much uglier than any of the other ones I've seen.
Right the f*** on, Russkrs! Using your imagination instead of your wallet is what keeps your brain from becoming a brick. BTW, as windshields go, it could easily pass for a Harley approved Sporty option. [sm=groupwave.gif]
I'd been lurking around ebay for two weeks or so looking for an old fairing to rig up on my bike before I found these shields... lol. I guess it is a good thing I didn't go that route.
