I purchased a Master Lock disc lock and it came with a small pouch for storage. I have relocated my headlight and had the perfect spot to mount it where the eyebrow used to be. I had a piece of thin angle that I used to mount the bag to.
I went for about an hour ride the other day and the bag was kind of droopy and hitting the headlight and decided that I needed to stiffen it up a bit.
I used a piece of aluminium flashing and bent it around to the size of the bag to support the weight of the lock drilled two 1/4 in. holes, covered the aluminium with a layer of Gorilla tape to protect the paint on the lock and to keep the edges of the metal from cutting through the bag. I removed the strap from the bag, inserted the bent aluminium inside of the bag and mounted it to the angle.
Now the bag is nice and solid and supports the weight of the lock very well. Although the bag is not water tight, it looks good and hides the wires and cables.
