Leather saddle bag question???

Question Leather saddle bag question???

Ok stupid question guy,please humor me..so i just put some throw over black leather saddlebags on my bike.Now what do i do about rain?do I need to remove them if there's a chance of rain? Or will they survive? just scared to ruin them..again sorry for the dumb question...

Put some leather protectant on them. They should withstand light to moderate rain, and make sure you dry them and treat them again when you're done riding.

If your bike will be parked outside during the rain, then cover them with plastic.

I would just cover them with a trash bag while washing or just try to avoide getting them soaked. Keep two trashbags in your saddle bags for emergencys.

Saddle Soap Inside and out,,,everywhere,,,
Rub It In Rub It In.
Find ya an old time Tac store,,that sells Saddles,,they got all
kinds of stuff.

If they are quality and you keep em clean n dry they will last.

Like someone said,,, get em wet,,,get em dry asap....
Don't dry em In the hot sun,,,a fan and shade,,,better

Depends on how you wash your bike... I never use a hose on my bike... just a wet/damp microfiber cloth to clean, and a dry microfiber cloth to dry. But if you'll be hosing the thing down, I would remove them, so you can get "behind the ears."
