I did this exact mod last year with the same parts. I bought all mine at Value Hardware Store, cost was less than 10 bucks, but I also added auto rubber caliper bolt covers to the studs.
I have a general signal question for the ones that hang down from the controls. Do the pegs that go up into the hole on the controls unscrew from the signal body? Thought I'd ask before twisting away.
