My wife bought a 98 883 thats been converted to 1200. The owner told me it had a SE stage 3 conversion. I know nothing about HD performance parts. Im assuming its, jugs, pistons, heads, cams, carb and tuner but i found one website that said stage 3 includes stroked flywheels and puts out around 90hp. Is this right?
Its not stroked.. You should have about a half inch or so of clearance over the rear rocker cover and the frame. Without modding the frame at that point, your not getting a stroked motor in the frame.
If it has had all that done, It would be a tire burning (not holding the front brake), wheeling, raped ape.
Talk is cheap, things like receipts and proof of the build says it all. Slightly massaged 1200s eat 96's on the track. Guessing and making assumptions are a waste of time.
Take it to a shop with a dyno and run it. Then go here to NRHS's dyno room and compare builds and guess some more......
Most people that drop big money on a build, keep a list of whats in it...
