Anyone installed the PS fork springs kit (p/n 11-1527) on a 48? Guys in the workshop tell me that even with the spacers the PS springs are MUCH shorter than the stock ones so they think they will not be working properly. What I am looking for is a softer ride since the stock front suspension seems like no suspension at all.
V, I have the Progressive springs in my 1200C and even though the Progressive springs are a little shorter your front will ride about 3/4 inch higher than it does now. And, it will ride much better. I run BelRay 7w fork oil in them. You'll love them.
PS, with about 13,000 miles on them they haven't sagged any.
