As much as I like the look of the SE slip ons and the buckshot head pipe covers, they are just a bit too quiet. I've been looking at V&H short shots and big radius, but would rather spend the money on something else. If I could just get away with a baffle change without starting all over that would be great. I've done some reading up on Cycle Shack and Big City Thunder Monster baffles. I haven't found any real good quality videos online. If someone has either what do you honestly think? I really don't want a metallic high pitched exhaust. I really like a big throaty sound. Also for those that have them, what part numbers are you using?

What does it take to remove SE baffles?
And if I decide to put it back, it requires welding?
Ideally, we should be able to replace SE baffles and really tune the exhaust sound more easily.
I haven't removed them yet, and I won't unless I have a reason. The ones on my 2010 look like they each have 2 tamper resistant torx and then they should "slide right out". I do believe some of the older ones are welded in, but don't quote me on that.
Nobody has had either of these baffles??
Well, the SE baffles don't want to come out at all. One of the torx screws stripped out in no time at all, They seem very soft. I'm going to return the baffles to Dennis Kirk. I'll live with what I have for now, then maybe just swap the whole exhaust system soon.
