Bought my first Harley!
Hey everyone put a post up in the new member section but im all about the Sportster section. Bought my fist Harley over the weekend and its a blast. Have had a few sportbikes but havent ridden in a few years. I must say that Ive bought 3 bikes from sportbike dealers before but it was nothing like the Harley experience. Everyone was amazingly nice and helpful and honest. Ive bought a ton of cars and bikes in my day but they didnt try and tricks or gimmicks (Ive seen them all). Its a 2011 Sportster Iron 883 and its brand spankin new (Vin sticker date is 5/11) Already bought a badlander seat and waiting for it to come in (so I can take the wife out) and had the Led headlight installed before I picked it up. When the seat comes in at the end of the week im having them do the 1200 converstion, exhaust and tune. Not sure what else im going to do but im sure ill do more.

The salesperson told me it was a hard seat but it looks so much better on the bike than the others. Is the front as hard as the factory seat or is it better or worse? I dont mind the ride now its a little rough but in a good way (I bought a harley if I wanted a smooth ride I would have bought a minivan). Im doing the 1200 converstion because I wanted a 1200 but LOVED the matte black and the whole look of the iron.

Love the headlight, Much brighter and I like the look of it better (I customize cars for a living and LED everything has been big on cars for a while) The front tire is what came on the bike its a Michelen Scorcher 31" and has the Harley logo on it.
