I know there's a kit that moves them out 2-3 inches. I don't know who makes'em though. I'm sure someone will know of the company.

I have forward controls but put pegs on my engine guard. I can still shift but need to take my foot off for the brake which isn't a bug deal as I rarely use the rear brake alot. It's alot more comfortable now.

There are several 3 inch extended kits out there. I had one, bought from a guy on a forum who makes them.
What I found out is that they dont fit with stock pipe. You have to have the style of pipe like shown about that has a 45 degree slanted front pipe.

Do a search you will find them

Thanks guys this really helps. Now I know what direction to go in.

Now this 3" extension That you guys are talking about mounts onto your existing mounts or are they a new mount all together? And I take you just get extensions or new linkage?

I have a buddy that has a 883 and he wants forward controls. I already told him I'll sell him mine for cheap if they are a new mount and even new linkage. Make it a cheap upgrade.

I'm not sure there is a ready made kit on the market. I have found plenty for Dynas and Softails but not for the newer Sportys. There is a thread on here about how to make some. You might take a look at the link below. This bar allows you to add extra pegs out front without the need for a crash bar.
