Lepera Barebones Seat

Looking at installing a Barebones seat on my 08 1200C. I currently have a reach seat and 11 inch shocks (Short Legs!), and am hoping to be able to put the 12" shocks back on with the Barebones seat.

Would appreciate comments on the comfort of this seat. I also have an 883L that has the factory seat (Very minimal padding) and have no problem with that seat.

Seach for "bare bones" on the Sportster forum and you will find several threads about it. I've read many times that this seat can be very uncomfortable for many people.

^^^it's not called a bare bones for nothing. not to mention, i think the bare bones will expose the dreaded hole in your fender where the ecm is.

I love the look of my barebones but I'm glad I have a little extra *** meat to absorb the shock. There is really no padding in the seat. It also seats you further forward than the stock seat.
