New Member and Sportster
this forum. I rode a Yamaha Roadstar 1700 for 6 yrs and 2 Honda's
before this and traded the Roadstar in on a 2010 Custom and am back
to having a great time on the back roads again.
I put 40,000 on the yamaha but in the last 2 yrs I rode it less and less. The sportster is the kind of fun I had when I first started riding.
I don't need to tell anyone who rides one but it seems to be at home on the back roads as well as on the highway.
The down side to this is that I promised myself that I would not change much so I put on new pegs, grips, pipes, Jm air cleaner re mapped. It is a addiction but can't go to jail for new chrome.
with the help of the information here.
Thanks
Charlie
I went from a Sportster to a Road King to a Ultra Limited. I love the comfort of my Limited and love to do long road trips on it but I have really missed my Sportster for riding locally just for the fun of riding.... so I just bought another Sportster a few weeks ago. It's a great bike!
