I've got a 2007 1200L with SE air and V&H exhaust. On crank up it idle's real high and seems to idle high all the time and just runs rough. I don't know anything about FI or things like fuelers or power paks or whatever their called. I'm also having same probs on my Dyna, back firing and such. same mods on it also. is there a fix for this? thanks
air leaks in the intake? or just way too lean , how do the plugs look sounds like yo may need to see a mechanic vs self help. not tryi8ng to be a smart a** ,but without a good background in mechanics you really dont want to start experimenting with the fuel injection system. sounds like the are running lean but why is the question. Did the problem stqart after you changed something or just appear with no changes to the bike. Did you add pipes and high flow air cleaner to the dyna too

I had junky gas. I do not know if your symptoms are the same, but they are similar.
dont be too quick to add schtuff to your tank but look into it.

don't think bad gas would cause the high idle issue, really thinking the bikes are running way too lean, the hard part is figuring out why, it the issues started after you added the add ons you may need a tuner or map for the bike , if the started suddenly without the changes made to the bike ther probably is a air leak. it could be electrical but the high idle makes me lean towards it's lean air/fuel ratio
How does it run under 1/2- full throttle? How does it run under steady throttle at speed? What does it do under deceleration at speed with zero throttle?
First things last: Did you just add the intakes/exhausts?
With new high flow air cleaner and aftermarket pipes you need fuel managment, at the least, I think they are called the 14 iexd's. I have no personal experience with those but a lot of people swear by them. I have the Power Commander "V" on my
09 1200L and no problems at all for the past 14 months, pre set from Fuel Moto.
K&N air filter stock box, and V&H slip ons, it helped with ridability all the way around.
