Guys I'm looking at dual headlights I know the fatbob has a nice set and I have seen smaller diameter ones in black which are nice. Just have a few questions.
1, what do you guys think ( I don't want a fatbob I just like the lights)
2, are there any alternatives I should look at?
3, will this be a complicated swap?
4, all input from you guys would be of great help even if it's to say you hate them ^.^
Man, I just keep finding more and more stuff I want to do to my scooter on the forums. This is at least one of the cheaper ones. Now does the light just plug and play besides the bracket?
Two wiring option I'm aware off. The hard way is to lift the tank, pop out the OEM headlight harness pins, and put in the new dual light harness pins.
Easy way is to cut teh wiring on both harness', and heat shrink butt connect them together.
I don't know about the newer bikes, but the headlight assembly on my '96 Sportster was stuffed with wiring. Not sure what you would do with it all if no housing to contain it.
