I drained the primary fluid so i can change it, the problem is the fill bolts are stripped, what do i do? Can i crack open the primary case enough to dump the fluid in there? Please help
I took the derby cover off mine so I could see how full I had it. They say it takes a full quart but I wanted to be safe then sorry. When I filled it up I had the wife steady it at a lean so I could pore the oil in.
Flip the bike upside down. Get a really skinny funnel, poor into drain plug.
eh, i watched a harley DVD and the dude just removed the inspection cap. it took a really funkass tool.. but he used a chisel and mallet to get it to turn.
Nevermind i had a brainfart when wrote this, it doesnt have a derby cover its a 91,it has the inspection plate with the two bolts, and those were the ones that were stripped, i just drilled them out, and put new ones in
