Thanks for the heads-up about the cables!

How hard/easy is the swap of the cables/wiring? Would I have to extend the front brake line?

I had to extend the brake line for the 14'' apes however, not sure about 12'' but you probably will have to. Swapping out cables and wiring is fairly simple. I am by no means a mechanic. Actually far from it and I did it. I read, read and then read some more. Then got a case of beer and took my time. All the answers are on here and if not then ask. There is always somebody on here that will help out. For me the only issue was the fear of breaking something. You just have to go at it and all will be good!

It's just the stock clamp off of a 07 1200L. Was like $60 from the dealer I believe

Ok I was curious to know how the view is when you seat on the bike with that setup

I'm 5'8" the bars are below my shoulder by ~2" the gauge is low enough that it doesn't effect my view. The club bikes in this area use the same set up with lower seats and taller risers with two gauges. A big part of it IS to help hide their faces somewhat. Those I imagine would mess with their view pretty significantly, but my particular set up does not
