Default wheels 2011 nighty...

well i havent posted much on here yet but have bee lurking around lol but ill skip the long story and jump stright to the current progress.

mods include:

-vance&hines short shots
-vance&hines fuelpak
-arlen ness big sucker stage II stainless a/c
-24" drag bars
-lick's solobag <----- TOOK FOREVER but was totaly worth it!
-2in tank lift w/ wire tuck
-relocated coil and ignition switch
-egay forward controls (black)
-removed belt guards
-and most recently:

did more work on the bike this past weekend.

chopped the rear feder, took the front one off and went for a ride up to globe/miami for some green chilli burros
PICS!!!!!!!

fender struts (frame) cut about 6 inches. the holes are now the new tailight and fender mounting locations. suprisingly, i love the look even with the stock struts. the fender doiesnt rub at all. im still considering a spring seeat and "hardtail" struts though...

front fender went bye-bye

completed rear fender chop:

outside ready to ride!

BEST GREEN CHILLI BURRO IVE EVER HAD!!!!!

Thanks guys!

I just used a grinder with a cut off wheel and an extremely steady hand to cut the fender. My buddy helped as well but we cut the front side of the fender (part under the seat) and rolled it forward.
That way I kept the rear oem line and shape but didn't have to have the whole thing painted.

Now that's a great idea/tip!

I agree with bmxatv, get rid of the stock seat and maybe flip or put on some bar end mirrors..... a side from that, that is one sick lookin' scoot!!!!!

Looks awesome, as much as it sucks to not have a front fender in wet weather it looks so much better without it ! I cant wait to chop my rear fender but right now the iron is my only bike and the gf would be pissed if I took away her ability to ride with me ! good luck with it !
