You don't have the gearing or the flow of a 1200 and the world wasn't built an 8th mile at a time so you might want to change that gearing for the real world. You're sure as hell not going to beat a real 1200 in the quarter.

What if I told you I have a few bikes with 883 gearing that would have more top speed than an 883 with 1200 gearing. AND I wouldnt need 5th gear.
I'll tell you guys what I really think. According to a time slip that was posted a 1200 is a 14 second bike. I doubt I could even spend enough to make it as fast as I'd want to got at the track. I think I'll just ride it and be happy with my gearing now that it rides a little better on the highway.

At 80 mph I'm spinning at around 4000 rpm. That's at least 500 rpm less than it was spinning with the 883 gear. If you don't think it matters you're wrong.
I get you guys in America like low revving lazy loping engines but I bet HD did many hours of testing and probably to destruction to determine how the evo engine would perform and survive running much higher than 4000 rpm.
