HD drag bars on my 2010 48. I had to relocate the turn signals and drop the forks down for the bars to work. Not too bad, and I love the new riding position.

^^^ @ NYLS I think those are too short, the HD bars are 32"

I also have the black HD bars. Havent gotten around to putting them on yet. From all my searching this is what Ive found... Like powerstroke said you need to drop the forks down in the trees by loosening the trees and tapping them down from the top. Also you need to move the signals to the lower tree (pretty straight forward) grind off the tab and bolt up. The HD catalog says you need shorter cables... BS. That would be more for looks than anything. Just be creative with routing your lines. Like I said this is just what Ive gathered from searching and looking at my bike and bars.

I may have read that in a thread somewhere now that you say that.

* Did a quick search and saw a guy running a 28" bar on his forty eight

I have Flanders drag bars on my 2011 48...a little pricy but the quality is on par. I ended up lowering the forks about 1/4 inch and relocating the turn signals. Check it out. http://youtu.be/rIvZGH1Lj0U

These are the exact ones I have on my 48. I did have to drop down the turn signals because they hit the bars but that's not hard to do, just grind off the tabs with a dremel and bolt um up to the lower bolts on the forks. Personally I wouldn't really go any shorter than a 30" bar. The 32" is perfect IMO.
