Unhappy HELP, HELP, Cam 4 out!!!

My second post and I sure wasn't thinking it would be about this topic, either way I feel sick to my stomach and I'm loosing sleep over this. The story goes like this, I bought a sportster 883 2006 two weeks ago and was running great, smooth, no problems but I decided to change a few things and powder coat some covers so as I get to the cam cover, front right side, I did not read and did not know that the cover was holding the cams. When pulling the cover out, cam number 4 came out, all other cams are still in place and have not moved at all except turn or rotate when I rotated the rear wheel. My question now is how hard is it to put that one cam back in place, I do know you have to remove the top end, rocker covers and release pressure to have the push rod up and slip in the cam.......how difficult is that, I have worked on my crotch rockets but never too detailed and I consider myself mechanically inclined but I would like some feedback and know if anyone has good advice, the one positive advice I did receive was from my local dealer service guy which asked if I was mechanically inclined and if I had a manual because according to him it is more time consuming than anything else so before I start I would like to know if I have the manual would it be a not so difficult job,,,,,please help and sorry for the long paragraph or two by now...

Cool Pheeewwww

Well cam is back in and now trying to place bottom rocker back on,,,, hopefully the bike will run as it did before,,,,,,

Even though no one has replied I do have to thank the HDForum for having members post very detail procedures and being so helpful because without them and these forums I would have been lost.

You say "Cam 4" came out. The fact that your 883 has 4 cams would throw me a curve right there.
