Yeah having to bike that are close to the same style is hard. I had 2 Sportys and it was not worth it. I say keep the Iron for now as it's a super sweet bike. PM me when you are going to be around the Stow/Kent area and we'll ride out and meet you. Like I said me and the wife would love to see the bike. My name is Ben by the way.

Sounds good Ben, my wife wants nothing to do with the bikes, but she does not care that I'm obsessed which is cool! I live in the area so anytime, usually the weekends are good. Saturday afternoon/early evening or Sunday early afternoon.

Ohhhhh man is this thing a hoot! Uphill starts are getting easier, but downhill is almost comical sometimes. If the hill is enough that I have to put the bike in neutral and hold the brake with my right foot and left foot holding up the bike. Then, I have to let off the brake and push the bike to get it going then lift up both feet hit the clutch and bang it into first gear once I get rolling. People in cages have not patience for this sort of thing and someone laid on their horn for what seemed like an eternity when I did this today. I swear I got going in about 3 seconds but that was not good enough for them I guess. Hahaha!

I run a JS with a 21" front spool, and to combat this I added a line lock (brake lock) installed between the MC and rear caliper tucked up under the battery where you can't see it. I use a microswitch by the throttle to flip it on (hit brake, then the switch to engage the LL.)
